Agreement
By using HEIC2JPEG ("the website"), operated by HEIC2JPEG ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
The service
The website provides free tools that convert and display HEIC and HEIF images. Conversion is performed by your own browser on your own device; we do not receive or store your files. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Your files and responsibilities
- You keep all rights to your images and the converted results.
- You are responsible for having the right to use, convert and share the images you process.
- Keep your original files until you have checked the converted results.
- Don't use the website unlawfully or in a way that could damage or overload it.
No warranty
The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make conversions accurate, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it can convert every file, or that results will be identical in quality, colour or metadata to the originals.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Open-source software
The website includes open-source software, including libheif and libde265, licensed under the GNU LGPL version 3. Those components are governed by their own licenses, listed on the third-party licenses page.
Intellectual property
The website's design, text and original code belong to HEIC2JPEG unless stated otherwise. Apple, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
